Cost Estimates:
All provided estimates are preliminary estimates and are not fixed final amounts.
Variations between cost estimates and invoiced amounts may arise due to changes in rented equipment, props, retouching hours, or unforeseen extensions in shooting time and requirements.
Clients will be notified in advance if adjustments exceed 15% of the quoted total value.
Assistants:
Photographic assistant is generally a non-negotiable, as I always work with an assistant. Assistant is always included in the cost estimate.
Photographic assistant rates are non-negotiable and are determined based on industry standards and skill level.
Bookings:
Only one set of shoot dates will be reserved per shoot, unless special circumstances (e.g., weather days) or a specific number of days have been contractually agreed upon.
Reserved dates are held upon request; however, final confirmation should be provided in writing at least 7 days before the agreed date.
Rescheduling:
A shoot date may be rescheduled up to 48 hours prior to the shoot, provided the new date suits all parties involved and no date-specific expenses have been incurred.
Cancellations:
Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled shoot time will not incur fees, except for any expenses already incurred for shoot-related purchases, travel, or equipment hire.
Cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled call-time will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
Cancellations within 24 hours or less of the scheduled call-time will incur a 100% cancellation fee, including studio hire and assistant fees.
Shooting Hours:
Unless otherwise negotiated, shooting hours are as follows:
Half-day: Up to 5 hours
Full day: Up to 10 hours
Image Selections:
After the shoot, a rough selection of low-resolution raw images will be supplied to the client, from which they will make a final selection to be processed.
The number of final images a client may select will be specific to that particular job or intensity of retouching.
These raw files are for the client’s eyes only and may not be shared on any online or print platforms or used or shared or distributed for any purpose whatsoever.
Image Usage:
Upon submission of images, a client may not thereafter supply these images to a third party for purposes of third-party benefit for profit, advertising, social promotion, or other.
The use of any images by an entity that is not the shoot’s original client should be negotiated and agreed upon to decide the relevant rates of usage.
Invoices:
Upon receiving invoice, acknowledgment of receipt should be communicated.
Unless a specific date is stipulated, invoices should be paid within 30 days of receipt.
